LS Mtron’s High-speed, High-precision, High-stability, Energy-Saving Injection Molding Machine

Captivating the visitors at "CHINAPLAS 2021"!

CHINAPLAS 2021, the world"s second largest plastics and rubber trade fair, was successfully held at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center from April 13(Tue) to 16(Fri), 2021.

At CHINAPLAS 2021 held under the theme of ‘New Era • New Potential • Innovation for Sustainability’, LS Mtron(hereinafter “LS Mtron”) exhibited WIZ280E, WIZ170E and WIZ110E, and received good reviews by completely captivating the visitors. 

LS Mtron is committed to providing customers with more diverse and practical solutions with high-speed, high-precision, high-stability, and energy-saving injection molding machines. We would like to introduce the achievements at CHINAPLAS 2021 and our future plans.

■ LS Mtron, which exhibited WIZ280E, WIZ170E and WIZ110E, was favorably noticed because it received a lot of attention from the visitors!

International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber Industry(hereafter "CHINAPLAS 2021’), highly renowned as a technology exchange platform for these industries, took place from April 13 to 16. 

The 34th edition of CHINAPLAS was held under the theme of ‘New Era • New Potential • Innovation for Sustainability" and exhibited plastics and rubber machinery, packaging, automobiles, wire cables, toys, and raw materials.

Meanwhile, LS Mtron"s electric injection molding machines, which are driven directly with a full server motor, have a great effect on energy saving as it can significantly save cooling water and hydraulic oil compared to conventional hydraulic ones. Due to its remarkable strengths such as high speed, high precision, high stability, and high cleanliness, it is drawing attention, especially in the medical industry that has been recently emphasized due to COVID-19.

WIZ 280E, WIZ 170E, and WIZ 110E were exhibited at CHINAPLAS 2021 and attracted the visitors. LS Mtron demonstrated live productions on stage with WIZ 280E for syringes, WIZ 170E for medical tubes, and WIZ 110E for dental orthodontic appliances so it was under the spotlight for producing timely products on stage. 

Particularly, the strength of WIZ 280E was introduced to the visitors: it was equipped with 64 cavity mold in accordance with the multi-cavity molding trend, and the cycle time was significantly reduced with 500mm/s injection speed and 9S cycle time, compared to existing hydraulic injection molding machines.

Taking this exhibition as an opportunity, LS Mtron is exploring various ways to respond to market demands including the medical industry which is expanding day by day.

■ Understand the trends in the Chinese market, and accelerate research and development(R&D) for injection molding machines that meet customer needs!

China, where CHINAPLAS 2021 was held, is known as the world"s factory. China is estimated to have grown 2.3% year-on-year in 2020, and IMF World Economic Outlook, January 2021 forecasts that it will show a growth rate of 8.1% in 2021.

Accordingly, plastics and rubber related people from all over the world visited CHINAPLAS 2021, seeking new ways for business growth and market expansion in the Chinese market. In line with this trend, LS Mtron also set out to target the global market as it selected exhibition products and injection-molded products, considering the characteristics of the electric injection molding machines in Shenzhen, China.  

In fact, most of the visitors were Chinese local customers and the exhibitors were mainly Chinese companies due to the effect of COVID-19, but this fair was quite similar to the global exhibition because most of the global companies are based in China.

Therefore, we will participate in and visit medical and injection exhibitions such as Shanghai CMEF in May, Chongqing CPLAS in October, and DMP in Shenzhen in November, in order to understand the trends of the Chinese market and to research and develop injection molding machines that meet customer needs.
