LS Mtron drew attention by presenting WIZ-E 80 ton electric injection molding machine at the "2020 Polish International Plastic and Rubber Industry Exhibition" (PLASTPOL 2020), which was held at Poland Targi Kielce from October 6-9, 2020.

At this exhibition, the exhibition was held in cooperation with Ludatec, a local agent in Poland, and the actual number of buyers increased compared to the size of the exhibition, which was somewhat reduced due to COVID 19, which led to more customer consultations compared to last year.

"PLASTPOL 2020," held in Targi Kielce, Poland from October 6 to 9, 2020, boasts a long history and tradition as the largest plastic industry exhibition in Eastern Europe and Central Europe, including Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Latvia and Lithuania as well as Poland.

Famous for having more than 80 percent of the pre-booking rate for the next year during the annual exhibition, one of the major exhibitions representing the European market boasting more than 50% of foreign enterprises participation rate, the exhibition is particularly well-known for its steady participation by major companies from around the world, including Korea.

Meanwhile, Poland"s recent toy market for children has continued to grow at an annual average rate of 4.3 percent due to economic growth and improved income levels, along with the steady growth of the eco-friendly plastic industry, a material for toys. In addition, Polish furniture industry"s export volume is second only to China, and demand for plastic materials and processing industry for furniture is also on the rise.

Also, organic food is popular in Poland, and the packaging industry accounts for 30 percent of the related industries, and growth in this area is also expected, emerging as a field of plastic-related industries.

The exhibition, which was held in cooperation with Ludatec, a local agent in Poland, was greatly reduced compared to 2019 due to the influence of COVID 19. Nevertheless, the small number of injection machine manufacturers attracted the attention of many visitors, followed by more substantial customer consultations and favorable reviews.

An LS Mtron official said, "Exporting products to the Polish market increases the possibility of exporting them to seven countries, including Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania, and Russia, so it is also very advantageous geopolitically," adding, "We plan to show a new level of technology and focus more on global marketing through this exhibition."

Meanwhile, LS Mtron has recently taken the lead in communicating with customers which was blocked by COVID-19 so far through demonstration of new products at Chinese production companies as well as participating in exhibitions, and is looking for ways to overcome difficult situations in various ways.
