K in Dusseldorf 2022(hereinafter referred to as K 2022) is scheduled to take place in Dusseldorf, Germany, between Wednesday, October 19 and Wednesday, October 26. As one of the leading trade shows in Plastics and Rubber Industries, the conference has been receiving significant attention from the industry. 

The tri-annual trade show is evaluated as the leading global communication platform that showcases and pioneers innovating trends in the plastic and rubber industries. It announced that this iteration of the show plans to focus on three categories: circular economy, digitalization, and sustainability, providing future-oriented trends and solutions.

This year’s iteration celebrates the 70th year, and is counted as a sizable fair that showcases machinery and parts, raw materials, auxiliary devices, semi-finished products, reinforced plastic, and many more. In the most recent iteration, K 2019, 3,300 different companies and 225,000 attendees are reported to be present, and K 2022 is projected to host 3,200 companies and 232,000 visitors.

According to EUROMAP, an association for plastics and rubber machinery manufacturers in Europe, 2021 global production of plastics and rubber machinery is projected to increase by 13%, reaching a new record of 38.6 billion euros.
