A Newly Released Electric type Product of LS Mtron, ‘the ONE*-E’



A new electric product named ‘the ONE*-E’, which was first appeared in the exhibition of LS Mtron Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as LS Mtron) opened last September 1st(Wed) is being highlighted and receiving much attention from the relevant industries.

Please allow us to have time to tour ‘the ONE*-E’ in detail of LS Mtron that implemented the dry cycle time of 1.49 seconds through the optimized toggle link design.  





■ ‘the ONE*-E’ with High Cycle and Optimized Toggle Mechanism


The ONE*-E, which can respond to high cycles and more precise molding has the characteristics of a 30% faster link speed ratio through the optimized toggle mechanism, and has been receiving various nice appraisals from the relevant industries due to an implementation of a dry cycle time of 1.49 seconds based on the class of 170 tons.





By operating at a low level of vibration through C-Curve control, it reduces the shocks and enhances the acceleration performance further. In addition, the ONE*-E allows not only to provide the fast opening and closing actions of formation by mounting the high-speed B/S but also to perform several functions such as monitoring of clamping force by a tie bar sensor (OPT), automatic calibration of clamping force, automatic zero-point adjustment mode for a spring mold, and optimized control of clamping force.

Besides, the Dual Center Press Die structure enables not only to minimize the deformation of die plate in case of boosting the voltage but also to enhance the distribution of surface pressure in a mold as well as extend the lifespan of a mold.

 


Reproducibility Enhancement with precision Servo Control!


The one-piece casting structure with a high rigidity that was applied to the ONE*-E provides the durability enhancement and the precise injection control, thereby reducing the injection acceleration time for the thin wall molding by 74%, from 78ms to 20ms, and also reduced the rotator inertia by 74% through a low inertia design.




 



Moreover, the grafting of digital load cells improved not only the measurement control cycle but also the reproducibility through high-speed/high-level pressure control. It also offered the reduced friction by employing the LM guide in the driving section of injection, thereby having implemented excellent acceleration and precision control.

 


- This product accomplished several advantages, such as;


- Minimized deviation through precise injection pressure and charging control,


- Increased the encoder resolution of servo motor from 17 bits to 20 bits,


- Enhanced the response performance to the drive control frequency by 3.7 times,


- Shortened the cycle of Ethernet communication by 2 times.

 


Broadening of customer convenience functions through the user-friendly interface configuration


The specifications of the ONE*-E were upgraded in order to improve the performance and convenience for users and HMI processing was done by using the existing single-core CPU as a main. The product newly employed the next-generation dual-core CPU and separated the architecture into main and HMI CPUs, thereby improving CPU load and adding various modes.

The modes added include clamp force optimization mode, clamping high-speed low-vibration profile mode, high-speed injection mode, packing(or holding) pressure pattern selection mode, and residual pressure elimination mode in case of charging completion. In addition, significant improvement was achieved in terms of user convenience through additional functions such as PDF viewer, graphic mode configuration function, maintenance notification function, and power monitoring function. 

Besides, the ONE*-E shows off its compact appearance by reducing 172mm in the size of the existing model, from 5453x1499x1853 to 5281x1495x1800.
