LS Mtron takes another step toward expansion into the global market at PLASTEC WEST 2020!

LS Mtron introduced its ‘theONE* Series’ (550 ton) at ‘PLASTEC WEST 2020’ held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, from February 11(Tue) to 13(Thurs), 2020, attracting a lot of attention with its hard effort to build up overseas markets.

LS Mtron, which has been already recognized for its solid technology in Korea, is considered to make a step forward in entering the global market beyond Korea"s No.1, through this exhibition.

■ ‘theONE * Series’, attracting visitors" attention with its outstanding technology!

Since its beginning in 1983, ‘PLASTEC WEST 2020’, which was held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, from February 11(Tue) to 13(Thurs), 2020, has grown to showcase various companies and products such as machinery, rubber and plastics industries. 

In 2019, 2,086 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and an estimated 19,300 visitors attended.

LS Mtron"s ‘theONE* Series’ introduced at this exhibition is a core manufacturing facility used for producing plastic parts in medical, packaging, automotive, teletronics, and home appliances. The developed product consists of 500~3300 tons based on clamping force. 

It can produce 1~40kg parts in terms of weight, and its main markets are medium & large cars, packaging and home appliances. It features large and heavy mold and improved productivity compared to the existing two-platen direct-lock injection molding machines, as well as its advanced positional reproducibility as great as well-known international brands. In particular, the CSI(Connected and Smart Injection) function, which can flexibly respond to customers" implementation of smart injection plants, is regarded as an advantage in the industry.

LS Mtron exhibited "theONE*Series"(550 ton) and made flower pots on the spot, drawing the attention from visitors. In terms of energy usage, it basically uses energy-saving servomotor, and in the mechanical aspect, it is a two-platen direct-lock hydraulic injection molding machine which can save 10-20% of installation space compared to three-platen toggle type. It is specialized for control of maximum mold opening stroke so that it is regarded to have attracted the attention of visitors every demonstration. 

■ LS Mtron Creates New Growth Momentum at PLASTEC WEST 2020!

‘theONE* Series’, which was evaluated as an advanced injection molding machine that has both excellent mechanical specifications and performance, like grabbing two birds with one stone. It is designed to secure a platform for hydraulic injection molding machines that can respond to productivity improvement through the implementation of smart factories worldwide, and enter new overseas markets dominated by European and Japanese companies, with its superior performance, rather than settling for the domestic market.

In particular, this product secures the performance of premium injection molding machines through FEA analysis and simulation for optimal weight design, precision molding, and fast Cycle Time, as well as sufficient durability. Through injection unit modularity for the use of different diameters of screws, it is easy to apply the proper injection unit according to different kinds of products, thereby achieving investment savings and work convenience so that it was highly acclaimed at the exhibition.

A LS Mtron official said, “The aggressive action for global injection molding machines in the domestic market has already demanded new growth momentum. LS Mtron wants to expand its overseas market further and actively introduce the LS injection molding machine brand to the world."
